Access Networks A650 Unleashed Wi-Fi 6 Indoor Access Point
The Access Networks Unleashed Access Point lineup provides the simplest way to offer your clients a high-performance, enterprise-grade network. Unleashed Access Points have a built-in controller, which means they’re simple to set up, easy to manage, and a great way to add a more economical yet robust solution to your network solution portfolio.
The A650 Access Point with Wi-Fi 6 (802.11 ax) technology delivers increased capacity, improved coverage, and exceptional performance in dense environments. The A650 is our high-density dual-band, dual-concurrent AP that supports six spatial streams and peak data rates of up to 2974 Mbps while efficiently managing up to 512 clients connections. Furthermore, 2.5GbE Ethernet ensures the backhaul will not be a bottleneck for full use of available Wi-Fi capacity.
Wi-Fi 6 Access Points from Access Networks enable a faster, more efficient, and more reliable network for every device. Making speed a concern of the past, Wi-Fi 6 is a significant update that supports the growing demand for better Wi-Fi.
Plus, interoperability between old and new devices means your clients can transition to Wi-Fi 6 over time, starting by upgrading wireless access points in popular areas of your projects.
Proprietary BeamFlex+ Technology
BeamFlex adaptive antennas allow the A650 to dynamically choose from up to 1,000+ possible combinations of antenna patterns in real-time to establish the best possible connection with every device. This leads to better Wi-Fi coverage and reduced RF interference.
Simply put, focused Wi-Fi energy leads to a better and further signal reception. BeamFlex aims Wi-Fi energy at each specific device when and where it’s needed, rather than spreading the signal in all directions as a standard AP would. As a result, interference from other Wi-Fi devices decreases, and signal strength increases for more reliable, stable, faster connectivity
BeamFlex+ is a technology where Wi-Fi signals are broadcast from the access point on both a horizontal and vertical axis at the same time. The client device will use diversity to receive both signals. Why does this matter? Smartphones, for example, sometimes sit horizontally on a table, and other times they’re held upright. No matter the positioning of the device, BeamFlex+ uses different antenna orientations helps to ensure the clearest, strongest Wi-Fi signal path.
